Unfortunately when a tooth cannot be saved, it might have to be removed. At Cityplace Dental Group, we strive to make dental extractions pain free and with minimal discomfort. Before the tooth is removed, we will discuss all the options available to you for replacement so that there’s a plan in place for the future. If you plan to get an implant to replace your missing tooth, we might have to treat the site so that it’s prepared for this treatment when you’re ready. If the removal of the tooth is complex, or if you request to be put to sleep for the procedure, we’ll refer you to a dental specialist who will address your needs.
